Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known under his pen name Mark Twain was born on November 30, 1935 in Florida, Missouri, the United States and died on April 21, 1910 in Redding, Connecticut, the United States. Twain was an American writer and humorist. He was very popular during his lifetime and remains one of the most popular American authors nowadays. He achieved the first success as a writer after his travel in Europe. During his voyage he wrote the letters and sent them to a newspaper where they were published. The book “The Innocents Abroad” based on these letters was very popular and earned Twain his first success. During his lifetime many people knew him as the author of that book.
